London, 22 October 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski signed Wednesday in London a Memorandum of Understanding with United States-United Kingdom company "Burstock" that is set to invest in the Macedonian defense industry.

"The company will invest up to US$150 million in the Macedonian defense industry, including 1,000 highly-paid jobs. This is only the beginning," PM Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post.

He adds that investments in the defense industry are expected to exceed US$1 billion.

"Burstock has a long-standing experience in the field of defense, diplomacy, security and intelligence, training, consultancy and project management, and specializing in the maritime and airline commercial sector," says Mickoski.
