PM Mickoski meets AHK North Macedonia director, Wandelt  

Skopje, 29 July 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Monday with Antje Wandelt, director of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in North Macedonia.

In a press release the Government said Mickoski and Wandelt discussed the interest of German companies in North Macedonia, ongoing challenges faced by German and local companies such as the availability and education of qualified workers, opportunities for young people to lead quality lives and their perspectives of creating a career in their native country. 

“Wandelt informed Mickoski on upcoming projects that will be realized by AHK North Macedonia, such as a visit by a delegation from German companies from North Rhine-Westphalia. A visit by German companies on the topic of decarbonization in industry, as well as a delegation visit on the topic of renewable energy sources,” the Government said.

Prime Minister Mickoski highlighted the Government’s interest in expanding economic cooperation with Germany. At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that the Government would like to continue the close cooperation with AHK North Macedonia in the future.

AHK North Macedonia is a part of the network of 150 German chambers of commerce in 93 countries worldwide, which has been monitoring the needs and challenges of businesses in the country for 24 years.
