PM Mickoski leads delegation to Davos forum, focused on economic growth, energy, strategic investments

Skopje, 19 January 2026 (MIA) — A government delegation led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will take part in the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which begins Monday.


This year's forum, held under the motto "In the Spirit of Dialogue", brings together over 65 heads of state and government, for talks about solutions to the most pressing global problems.


According to an official press release, PM Mickoski will hold a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of leading global corporations and financial institutions, at which he will present the benefits of investing in the Macedonian economy, placing a special focus on energy and technology.


The Macedonian delegation will participate in panels related to sustainable development, with Mickoski presenting the state's strategic plans for energy transformation and regional infrastructure connectivity.


The PM is also scheduled to attend closed sessions for leaders as well as public debates discussing artificial intelligence, energy and economic growth in Europe.


In addition, the government delegation in Davos will meet with senior state officials and representatives of international organizations, with the aim of accelerating reform processes and obtaining support for key national projects, the release said. mr/
