Skopje, 30 September 2023 (MIA) — Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski sent his best wishes on the Media Information Agency's 25th anniversary.

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the 25 years of existence of the Media Information Agency," PM Kovachevski wrote.

"Over the years, MIA has raised the importance of accurate, objective and thorough reporting to a high level and has created a credible news agency that can be trusted," he said, adding that the national news agency provides timely and accurate news reports on domestic and international developments.

The prime minister also extended his wishes for MIA's future success and urged the newsroom to continue defending the dignity of the journalistic profession. mr/
