Skopje, 29 August 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met Monday with the new Kosovo Ambassador to North Macedonia, Florijan Qehaja, reaffirming the friendly and constructive bilateral relations and no open issues. PM Kovachevski and Ambassador Qehaja agreed that both countries aim to develop goodneighborly relations, which is significant for the progress of the entire region, the Government said in a press release. Kovachevski welcomed the Kosovo-Serbia agreement over identity documents, saying North Macedonia continues to support further dialogue towards normalization of relations, thus guaranteeing peace, stability and security of the region. Interlocutors discussed enhancement of bilateral relations in facilitation of border procedures and other issues of current interest, including energy, reads the press release.
