PM Kovachevski expects solid cooperation with President, all relevant stakeholders
Skopje, 17 January 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski expects to have solid cooperation with President Stevo Pendarovski all the while announcing constructive cooperation with all stakeholders in the society, including civil society organizations and the opposition. After meeting with the President, Kovachevski said his government aims to adequately address the energy crisis and to provide better living standards for the citizens. “It requires efficient, honorable and responsible governance. I called on all ministers that accepted to be part of the cabinet to serve the citizens through independent institutions and just society,” he told reporters. Kovachevski singled out finding solutions to the energy crisis as being top priority all the while pledging to improve the standards for living and support for companies as well as to help implement major infrastructural projects, whose financing has been approved under the 2022 budget. The new PM also vowed that the country’s EU integration process remains a strategic goal.
