Skopje, 8 November 2023 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski is paying a visit to Paris, where he is set to address the 42nd Session of the UNESCO General Conference, the Government said on Wednesday.

PM Kovachevski will be welcomed to the conference by UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay.

During the visit, Kovachevski will also take part at the 6th Paris Peace Forum, which brings together heads of state and government, leaders of international organizations, representatives of the business industry, civil society organizations and academic community. The forum aims to stimulate cooperation and search for solutions to global challenges.

The PM will deliver remarks at session themed "Addressing Inequalities and Accelerating Sustainable Development Goals".

In addition, Kovachevski and wife Elena will attend a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and wife Brigitte Macron for heads of state and government participating at the forum, reads the press release.
