Skopje, 22 September 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and his wife Elena Kovachevska attended the formal reception for heads of state and government, hosted by United States President Joe Biden within the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday. PM Kovachevski’s attendance at the reception hosted by President Biden is another confirmation of the long-standing strategic partnership between North Macedonia and the United States, as well as the support that the country gets in meeting the key objectives, but also for realization of the priority policies focused on economic, social and democratic prosperity, the Government said in a press release. It adds that the benefits of North Macedonia’s NATO membership and the Strategic Partnership with the U.S. are of exceptional importance for the country, especially amid a period of global economic and energy crisis.
