Skopje, 5 July 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expressed hope Friday for discussion as partners and good neighbors if a meeting with Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis takes place during next week's NATO Summit in Washington.
"I hope we will keep our dignity and talk as partners and good neighbors if such a meeting takes place. If not, I hope it will materialize shortly," Mickoski told reporters regarding Mitsotakis' statement that he expects the new PM to use the constitutional name erga omnes and would raise the issue at the Alliance summit.
Mickoski said the Government wants to build good relations with all neighbors while adding they are a two-way street.
"We want good relations with neighbors, we want to build bridges of cooperation, but this is a two-way street. I suppose they were used to a one-way street until now, but this government wants to have a goodneighborly two-way street and we will continue to do this," said Mickoski.
