Skopje, 30 October 2024 (MIA) -- Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expects the European Commission's report on the progress of the country due to be released today will be similar to the previous report, with some improvements, he said Wednesday.

Speaking to the press in Gjorche Petrov, the prime minister said he would comment on the report once it is released.

"The unnofficial information I have on the report is that it covers a period of a 10 months' rule by the previous government and the caretaker government and two months' of this government.

"It is also somewhat shorter because its format has been changed so it is more readable to members of the public.

"I expect it to say something similar to the previous report. There may be improvements in some areas, but let's get it officially and then we'll comment on it," Mickoski said. mr/
