Skopje, 1 June 2023 (MIA) — President of Moldova Maja Sandu welcomed us warmly to the 2nd European Political Community Summit, which brings us all together in the same place at the right moment, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski wrote on his Facebook profile.

"Russia's cruel invasion against sovereign and independent Ukraine showed us very clearly that the countries of the free democratic world have common security, economic and energy challenges," Kovachevski wrote, adding that they had to be dealt with together.

As a NATO member country, with open negotiations with the EU and being a factor of stability in the region, North Macedonia is committed to the common democratic values of peace, the PM added. mr/
