Skopje, 27 April 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska held a meeting Thursday with the Director of NATO’s Nuclear Policy Directorate, Jessica Cox, who is on a two-day visit to North Macedonia. At the meeting, Petrovska voiced her gratitude for the continued support during the country’s participation in the Alliance’s ongoing consultations.

Minister Petrovska said that during Cox’s meetings with the highest state officials, topics such as NATO’s nuclear deterrence mission will be reviewed.

“North Macedonia is a full-fledged member of the Alliance and participates in all ongoing NATO processes and activities,” said Minister Petrovska.

Earlier on Thursday, Director Cox participated in an academic and think-tank dialogue with professors and students from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and the “General Mihailo Apostolski” Military Academy.
