Petreski in Struga: Greater rights for workers, better working conditions

Struga, 21 April 2024 (MIA) — Greater rights for workers and better working conditions if elected, promised the head of the Workers' Party and its coalition's list of MP candidates from the Fifth Electoral District Ljube Petreski in Struga on Sunday.

Asking for support from voters in the upcoming parliamentary election, Petreski said his party would advocate for the withdrawal from the Prespa Agreement with Greece and the Friendship Treaty with Bulgaria as well as termination of the Ohrid Framework Agreement. He also said laws on bilingualism and territorial division would be repealed.

"Unilateral termination of the Prespa and Bulgarian agreements, resulting in the return of our centuries-old name. Is there anyone who wants the country to be called North, besides the SDSM politicians who changed our centuries-old name?" Petreski said.

He also said his party was against the Bologna education system, which he said produced intellectual kitsch.

According to Petreski, the Workers' Party would also advocate for withdrawing from NATO and stopping the negotiations with the European Union. mr/
