Skopje, 5 September 2022 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski spoke to Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, on the phone, discuss current regional and security issues, energy challenges and as well as security in the region, his office said Monday. Regarding the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the President reaffirmed his support for Ukraine and its people, pointing out that North Macedonia, as a NATO member, will continue to provide military, humanitarian and diplomatic aid, in order for the military aggression to stop, for democratic values to be defended, and for peace to be established. Secretary General Stoltenberg expressed his gratitude for North Macedonia's support for Ukraine, said the press release. The interlocutors agreed that the Alliance should continue its efforts to support Ukraine in order the situation to stabilize across the entire Euro-Atlantic zone. dk/ba/
