Skopje, 8 December 2023 (MIA) — President Stevo Pendarovski sent his best wishes to the nation on St. Clement of Ohrid Day, including Macedonian Orthodox Church leader Archbishop Stefan and to all Orthodox believers.

"May you spend this holiday in good health, filled with joy and happiness," President Pendarovski wrote, highlighting that the Macedonian Orthodox Church patron saint's legacy was one of spirituality and wisdom.

"With strong faith, discipline and dedication, St. Clement overcame obstacles that stood in his way, tirelessly spreading his pastoral love. Sharing the worldview, spirituality, culture and humanism of this great teacher, let us also give love, be thoughtful and caring, and contribute to peace, harmony, prosperity and wellbeing in Macedonian society," Pendarovski wrote. mr/
