Skopje, 23 January 2023 (MIA) – Commenting on good neighborly relations with Bulgaria at a press conference after Monday’s session of the Security Council, President Stevo Pendarovski said he doesn’t see any basis for another veto from Sofia.  

“I can’t tell what the Bulgarian side will do. Each state makes its decisions sovereignly, autonomously. Although to be honest, I don’t see any basis for a new veto. So, I can’t know. I don’t think so. I hope they don’t go in that direction, because you all know what I’m saying. You know it’s provocateurs who do that,” the President said in response to a reporter’s question on whether a new Bulgarian veto was possible.
