Debar, 28 April 2024 (MIA) - Presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski highlighted Sunday to the citizens of the village of Velebrdo that only the political option he is part of can offer Macedonia to be a decent place to live, because in recent years, sometimes with small steps, but still, we have been moving forward.

According to Pendarovski, the opposition party poses a danger of regressing the state to times of division, tension, and discrimination.

“Unfortunately, those who now seek to come to power are the same ones from seven to eight years ago, and everyone knows that in that case, opportunities for employment and career advancement will only be available to their members. Back then, there were two categories of citizens in the country, their members and all others. And I have always argued, even when I was not in politics, that either we will all be equal or there will be no luck for anyone,” Pendarovski said.

He pointed out that in recent years, he and other members of the government have demonstrated, through examples, what true care for all citizens means, regardless of their affiliation.

“No one was discriminated against on any grounds, neither by me nor by anyone else, be it a prime minister, minister, or mayor. Things were different in their time, and now they want to revive that old politics. That's why I urge you, on May 8, once again, by marking number one, to confirm the victory from the first round in this locality, and then to bring victory to the entire country,” Pendarovski added.

SDSM’s presidential candidate Pendarovski met Sunday evening also with the residents of the municipality of Mavrovo-Rostushe.
