Skopje, 21 March 2024 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski observed a tactical demonstration exercise on Thursday at the 'Strasho Pindjur' barracks in Petrovec, his Office said in a press release.

The exercise, conducted by around 100 members of the Army’s First Infantry Brigade, showcased various maneuvers and tactics.

The exercise scenario included road clearance during patrols and simulating engagement with enemy forces, followed by their neutralization. During the exercise, a demonstration of some of the new equipment and personal armament of the light infantry battalion group was also presented.

President Pendarovski assessed that the successful implementation of the exercise is yet another evidence of the professionalism, dedication, and readiness of the Army personnel, reaffirming their reliability as partners within the NATO alliance. He reiterated his commitments and expectations for further modernization of the Army in the coming years, reads the press release.
