Brussels, 23 May 2023 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Tuesday with the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, Eliane Tillieux, as part of his working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, said the President’s Office in a press release.

At the meeting, Pendarovski and Tillieux spoke about the bilateral relations between Belgium and North Macedonia, as well as issues related to interparliamentary cooperation.

Pendarovski and Tillieux exchanged opinions over the perspective of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the coming period, with the President highlighting the importance of the support provided by Belgium for the European perspective of the region, which is in the interest of the stability of the European Union.
