Skopje, 30 September 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Friday with a delegation of members of the Albanian Parliament, participating in the second meeting "The role of lawmakers during the negotiation process" within the framework of the project "Enhancing the expertise and capacities of lawmakers in relation to the EU accession process", which is being held in Skopje. President Pendarovski was briefed on the activities planned within the framework of the project, which is implemented with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. During the meeting, President Pendarovski said that the excellent bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Albania are a good opportunity to exchange experiences as regard the European integration, given the two countries are opening EU accession talks. The talks were also focused on situation in wider region including the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and energy crisis, President’s Office said in a press release.
