Pendarovski, Kovachevski and Vučić to address event marking national holiday of Serbs in North Macedonia

Skopje, 27 January 2024 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will address Saturday the “Saint Sava Academy” in Skopje held on occasion of the national holiday of Serbs in North Macedonia - St. Sava Day.
The event is hosted by the Serbian Cultural Center in Skopje. According to the organizers, the event is expected to be addressed by officials from North Macedonia, Serbia, and Republika Srpska. The culture, spirituality and tradition of the Serbian people would also be presented at the event, they said.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced his trip to Skopje on January 22, during his participation in the summit on the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, alongside other leaders from the region.
“In a few days I will come to North Macedonia once again. An academy will be held on the occasion of St. Sava Day, where President Stevo Pendarovski and I will address the representatives of the Serbian people,” said Vučić.
