Skopje, 21 April 2023 (MIA) - President Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of the great Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, sent a congratulation message to the citizens of Islamic religion in the Republic of North Macedonia and to the head of the Islamic religious community, Reis-ul-Ulema h. hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetahu. 

"Allow me to extend to you personally, to the members of the Riyaset, muftis, imams and all citizens of the Islamic faith in the Republic of North Macedonia, my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"May you spend the holidays in peace and harmony filled with happiness and joy and sharing love with your neighbors. In the spirit of Ramadan, let us give, help and spread goodwill. Regardless of religious, ethnic and political affiliation, may we have understanding and respect for all our fellow citizens. Together, united and in solidarity, let us work on the progress and well-being of our common homeland, the Republic of North Macedonia. Congratulations on Eid al-Fitr!" the President said.
