Skopje, 24 December 2023 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski extended Sunday his Christmas greetings to Kiro Stojanov, Bishop of Skopje and Eparchial Bishop of Strumica-Skopje, and to all Catholic Christians celebrating the nativity of Jesus – Christmas.

“Allow me to extend my greetings to all Christian faithful celebrating Christmas in line with the Gregorian calendar, and wish you good health, peace, harmony and love during the holidays filled with joy and happiness,” said Pendarovski in his greeting.

Christmas, as one of the most significant and holiest Christian holidays, said Pendarovski, “brings us faith and hope, filling our homes with warmth and our hearts with love”.

“Precisely on the day of the nativity of Christ, let us demonstrate our virtue, solidarity and care for our closest. Let’s give each other love and attention; let's respect and help one another. Only together, and with deep mutual respect and unity, can we achieve prosperity and progress in Macedonian society. Merry Christmas!” said the President.
