Skopje, 9 April 2024 (MIA) - Presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski expresses his regret over Tuesday's fire that broke out at the Universal Hall in Skopje and urges swift response by competent institutions.

"Effective investigation must be carried out, all those responsible for the destruction of this significant building must be identified and sanctioned," Pendarovski's election HQ said.

According to the election HQ, for his next term Pendarovski pledges to restore as soon as possible the Universal Hall building as it is one of the symbols of Skopje, a building engraved in the collective memory of Skopje's generations.
