Pendarovski: Bosniaks are an integral part of Macedonian society
Skopje, 28 September 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski sent a congratulation message to the members of the Bosniak community in the Republic of North Macedonia on September 28 - International Day of Bosniaks.
“This day is one of the important holidays that symbolize the wealth of ethnic, religious, linguistic and cultural identities under the Macedonian sky. In our common homeland, the Republic of North Macedonia, we understand the diversity of identities not as a weakness, but as our greatest strength and value. Hence, by commemorating the International Day of Bosniaks, we invest in the thread of inclusiveness that holds different ethnicities together for better or for worse,” reads the message of congratulations. The President underlines that the greatest success of the state is if all its citizens, regardless of their identity, feel it as their homeland and, through their individualities, they contribute to the common good. “We are proud that you, the Bosniaks, are an integral part of the Macedonian society, but also an important link of North Macedonia with countries where your compatriots live. I believe that only united we will overcome all health, political and economic challenges and implement the vision of a stable and prosperous Republic of North Macedonia. Allow me, once again, to congratulate you on September 28, International Day of Bosniaks, and wish you good health, joy and prosperity,” President Pendarovski says in his congratulation message.
