Skopje, 10 October 2023 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski addressed an event Tuesday marking the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year at the International Balkan University (IBU) in Skopje.

According to a press release from Pendarovski’s Office, the President stressed that IBU is constantly developing since its establishment in 2006, noting the increase in the number of faculties, research centers and study programs provided by the university.

According to Pendarovski, a special added value of the institution is the fact that lectures are offered in several languages.

In his address to the students, the President said their knowledge will be necessary for the country’s development.

“My advice is not to see exams and studies only as a task to be finished as soon as possible and as easily as possible. Try to gain as much knowledge as you can, so that tomorrow you can be competitive not only on the domestic labor market, but anywhere in Europe and the world. Your knowledge, coupled with your energy and enthusiasm are absolutely necessary for the development of our shared country in a world that is becoming increasingly competitive,” said Pendarovski.
