Skopje, 16 January 2024 (MIA) — President Stevo Pendarovskiat the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, met with James O'Brien, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the US Department of State.

According to an official press release, the meeting discussed the current situation of North Macedonia regarding its European integration, reform processes as well as latest political developments in the country and the region.

O'Brien reaffirmed the USA's support for the country's European aspirations and expressed official Washington's expectation that North Macedonia will continue on its path to full European Union membership. mr/
