Skopje, 3 June 2024 (MIA) - Parliament has scheduled a session of the Committee on Election and Appointment Issues for Tuesday.  

According to Parliament’s website, the agenda for the first session of the Committee consists of determining a draft decision for the election of chairs, deputy chairs and members and deputy members of Parliament’s committees; consideration of former President Stevo Pendarovski’s request for a suspension of his right to a presidential pension; and consideration of a request for the payment of wages after the cessation of the post of member of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The election of chairs and members of Parliament’s committees was also discussed at Monday’s first coordination meeting of the new parliamentary composition between Speaker Afrim Gashi and the representatives of all political parties.
