Skopje, 17 September 2024 (MIA) - The Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia will mark Tuesday the International Day of Democracy, which is celebrated on September 15.

According to the parliament’s press office, the opening of the event will feature welcoming addresses by the Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, Swiss Ambassador Véronique Hulmann, the Parliament’s Secretary General Marina Dimovska, and the senior resident director of NDI, Robert Scott Hazlett. The event will be attended by students from primary and secondary schools.

The agenda includes a pantomime performance, photo sessions with MPs, interactions with the performers, an introduction to the Parliament’s committees, and a guided tour of the Parliament building.
