Skopje, 27 July 2022 (MIA) - Parliament is set to hold Wednesday a session, whose agenda, amongst other things, includes the ratification of the protocols for the accession of Finland and Sweden into NATO. Diplomats, government members and the head of state have been invited to attend today's session. After the Madrid NATO Summit held in June, officials of the 30 NATO member states on July 5 signed the protocols to the North Atlantic Treaty on the accession of Sweden and Finland. The Parliament of North Macedonia, which joined NATO on March 27, 2020, will ratify accession protocols for the first time since becoming a member.
