Parliament resumes 145th session

Skopje, 29 February 2024 (MIA) - The Parliament will resume on Thursday its 145th session, including on the agenda amendments to the Law on Games of Chance and Entertainment, in third reading, four bills on strategic investment projects, proposed to be approved in a fast-track procedure, and draft laws proposed by SDSM MPs regarding officials' wages. 

 

The four bills on strategic investment projects include a draft law on implementing the strategic investment project "Solar park Stipion", draft law on implementing the strategic investment project AIM Green Tech, draft law on implementing the strategic investment project "Mytilineos - Cogeneration Plant Skopje", and a draft law on implementing the strategic investment project Pehchevo solar power plant.  

 

The session's agenda also includes a draft law on amendments to the law on wages and other compensations of elected and appointed persons, a draft law to amend the law on MPs, draft law to amend the law on public prosecutors' wages, draft law on amendments to the law on wages of members of the Judicial Council, draft law on amendments to the law on wages of members of the Council of Public Prosecutors, and a draft law on amendments to the law on wages of judges, all proposed to be approved in a fast-track procedure. 

 

MPs will also discuss, among other, a draft law proclaiming Lake Ohrid as a monument of nature, draft law on amendments to the law on sports, proposed to be approved in a fast-track procedure, a bill on a loan to be concluded between the Development Bank of the Council of Europe and the Development Bank of North Macedonia for job creation in micro, small and medium enterprises in North Macedonia, proposed to be approved in a fast-track procedure, draft law on the National Development Strategy 2024-2044, etc.
