Skopje, 4 March 2026 (MIA) - With 71 votes in favor and 11 against, Parliament elected on Wednesday Admir Shabani as Deputy Minister of Defense, and Driton Sulejmani as Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Presenting the proposed deputy ministers ahead of the vote, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said they are a part of the broader process of strengthening the institutions, restoring trust in the country, and building a system working in the interest of the citizens.

“Our duty as a Government is to appoint people who possess knowledge, integrity, and a sense of responsibility toward the state. People who will work with commitment, professionalism, and honesty, in service of the country and all its citizens,” Mickoski said.
