Parliament committee endorses Constitutional Court judge nominee Jadranka Dabovikj Anastasovska
Skopje, 8 November 2023 (MIA) - The Parliament's Committee on Election and Appointment Issues endorsed Wednesday Law Faculty professor Jadranka Dabovikj Anastasovska to be appointed a Constitutional Court judge, nominated by the ruling majority.
VMRO-DPMNE lawmakers highlighted the professor's rich CV of which she should be proud but asked the ruling majority about their move to swiftly complete the election procedure without consulting them and in the absence of the nominee, who is supposed to elaborate her vision.
If confirmed at a plenary session, Jadranka Dabovikj Anastasovska will replace judge Jovan Josifovski, whose term expired in January 2022.
