Pristina, 9 May 2024 (MIA) - Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on her victory in the presidential elections, who immediately responded by thanking her while expressing readiness for cooperation, MIA reports from Pristina.

Osmani-Sadriu noted that Kosovo and North Macedonia enjoy excellent neighborly relations and share a strong commitment to Euro-Atlantic integration, adding that she looks forward to working with Siljanovska in order to "achieve this common goal."

"Kosovo and North Macedonia enjoy excellent neighborly relations and share a strong commitment to Euro-Atlantic integration. I look forward to working with the President-elect to achieve this common goal, and to further deepen relations between Kosovo and North Macedonia," Osmani-Sadriu said.

In her response, Siljanovska-Davkova thanked Osmani-Sadriu in both Albanian and Macedonian.

"Dear Vjosa, I am delighted by your sincere congratulations. I am pleased by the fact that women in our region are making political history by standing bravely in key positions. I expect that we will continue our cooperation in order to finally achieve our common strategic coal, European integration of the entire region, as well as strengthen our ties through "female synergy," Siljanovska-Davkova said. ssh/ik/
