Osmani-Grigoryan: UNDP continues supporting overall development of the country
Skopje, 25 November 2022 (MIA) – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) engagements in various fields as economy, social inclusion, gender equality, strengthening institutions, the environment, climate change, as well as the energy crisis, as one of the greatest challenges for the country and government’s top priority, were discussed during Friday’s meeting between Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani and UNDP Resident Representative in the country, Armen Grigoryan.
Osmani welcomed the continuous support from the UNDP for the overall development of our country, especially in key processes, expressing satisfaction with the overall cooperation with the UNDP Office in the country, especially in identifying strategic priorities, current activities to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
“They also discussed many projects/events that UNDP plans to organize in the period from March to June, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Skopje earthquake in 1963. Osmani noted that they have the support of the Foreign Ministry in all aspects, as well as for mutual participation in the organization of projects. The issue of mutual projects within the framework of green diplomacy was also addressed,” reads the press release.
