Osmani-Dendias hold phone call: Search for third missing Macedonian in Greece resumes on Wednesday
Skopje, 12 July 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani spoke over the phone on Tuesday with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias and discussed the situation in regard to the search for the third Macedonian man missing in Greece. During the phone call, Osmani asked for the continuation of the search despite the end of the regular deadline, during which his Greek counterpart briefed him that it was decided the search for the missing person to continue, North Macedonia’s Foreign Ministry (MFA) said in a press release. Moreover, Osmani expressed gratitude for the efforts and sacrifices of the Greek Coastal Service, the Air Force and the local population, involved in the search and rescue operation. The phone call followed the formal sending of a note to the Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a request to continue the search even though the deadline for organizing this type of search and rescue activities is ending today.
