Skopje, 23 October 2023 (MIA) - OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani is set to open this year's OSCE-wide Chairpersonship-in-Office Conference on Cyber/ICT Security, taking place in Skopje on Monday and Tuesday. 

"Cyber/ICT security and raising awareness about protection against the growing threat of cyber attacks is among the priorities of the 2023 OSCE Chairpersonship," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.   

This year's OSCE Chairpersonship's Conference on Cyber/ICT Security, entitled ‘People, Confidence, Resilience — Building Cyber Security for All’, will discuss strengthening cyber resilience and building a cohesive policy approach across State actors and other stakeholders, such as the private sector, academia and NGOs.

The discussions between participating States, relevant political and expert stakeholders will focus on raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, capacity building and the implementation of confidence-building measures (CBMs).
