Osmani to meet top Armenian officials

Skopje, 13 April 2023 (MIA) — Minister of Foreign Affairs and OSCE's current chairperson Bujar Osmani is ending his four-day tour of the South Caucasus countries with a visit to Armenia's capital, Yerevan, where he will meet with top Armenian government officials and Members of Parliament.

 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release, Osmani's meetings will be focused on Armenian – Azerbaijani relations and OSCE's role in ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus and in the wider region.

 

Osmani will discuss these issues with President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, and members of the Armenian parliamentary delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

 

Osmani's South Caucasus tour in the previous three days included a two-day visit to Georgia and a one-day visit to Azerbaijan, where he met with top government officials and spoke about North Macedonia's OSCE Chairpersonship-in-Office priorities, highlighting stability and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus. mr/
