Belgrade, 25 May 2023 (MIA) - OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani laid Thursday a wreath at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" school, paying respects to the victims of the May 3 mass shooting, MIA reports from Belgrade.

"Faced with this unthinkable tragedy, it is crucial that we join in sharing the loss and pain, and support those who are most affected. This is the only way to reaffirm our readiness to prevent such horrendous incidents from happening in the future," Osmani wrote in a Facebook post.

According to him, the families whose lives are forever changed experience immerse grief, "but they are not alone."

"Together with OSCE we are offering solace, strength and solidarity for the nation united in collective grief. Let the memory of the victims be an impetus for all of us to work hard for a safer future, where schools are a symbol of knowledge and friendship," says Osmani.
