Skopje, 13 May 2023 (MIA) — Minister of Foreign Affairs and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Bujar Osmani visited the Boris Trajkovski memorial in Rotimlja near Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and laid flowers at the site of the 2004 plane crash in which President Trajkovski and eight members of the delegation and the crew lost their lives.

"Trajkovski was widely respected for his inclusive and pragmatic leadership," Osmani said. 

"He played an important role in leading the country during one of the most challenging periods of its history," he added.

Osmani is on a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. Before visiting Mostar, he also visited Sarajevo and Jablanica and held meetings with the head of state, members of parliament, civil society representatives and other OSCE partners. mr/
