Ohrid, 13 April 2024 (MIA) - DUI presidential candidate Bujar Osmani met with the citizens of Ohrid on Saturday, saying the upcoming elections represent a choice between two alternatives - integration versus isolation, coexistence versus ethnic tensions, progress versus regression.
"These are the two offers for citizens at these elections. As a candidate of the European Front, I offer EU integration in the coming five years. If I managed to open the EU negotiations as minister, I can promise that the process will be completed by the end of my presidential term," said Osmani.
He added that the European Front offers coexistence, versus the option that wants to have 61 MP seats in order to exclude the others.
"Today I sent a message to my opponent Gordana Siljanovska. The demand for 61 MP seats goes against all principles of coexistence and multiethnic democracy. Let's stop with the hate speech. This country can be rich, prosperous and successful only if we enjoy equal rights and opportunities. This is what I offer as presidential candidate," noted Osmani.
