Athens, 1 March 2023 (MIA) – North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani spoke over the phone with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias and expressed his condolences for the tragic railway accident in Greece.

FM Dendias thanked his counterpart Osmani for his support at this difficult moment, reads the official twitter account of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A passenger train carrying hundreds of people collided at high speed with an oncoming freight train in a fiery wreck in northern Greece on Tuesday evening, killing 36 and injuring at least 66.
