Osmani at meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels

Skopje, 3 April 2024 (MAI) - Minister Bujar Osmani will take part April 3-4 at a meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Brussels, focusing on the 75th anniversary of NATO and the Alliance's priorities in the run-up to the July NATO Summit in Washington.
Ministers will also discuss current security challenges, Allied support to Ukraine, as well as strengthening deterrence and defence of the NATO Alliance, MIA reports from Brussels.
The two-day meeting begins today with a session of the North Atlantic Council.
NATO’s 75th anniversary celebration will take place on Thursday, beginning with a wreath laying ceremony by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, followed by their remarks and the speeches of FMs marking anniversary of countries’ accession to NATO, including: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, concluding with the speech by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium.
The NATO-Ukraine Council will also hold a meeting, followed by a session of the North Atlantic Council with Indo-Pacific Partners, including representatives of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea, as well as the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
