Ohrid, 31 August 2024 (MIA) – Nineteen athletes, including eight female and eleven male swimmers, take part in this year’s 37th Ohrid Swimming Marathon.

Swimmers from nine countries will compete who will finish first the 25-kilometer-long path in Lake Ohrid from Sveti Naum to the City Port. 

From North Macedonia, four swimmers will compete: Leonid Mishevski, Evgenij Pop Acev, Aleksandar Ilievski and Rosana Gosheva.

The Ohrid Swimming Marathon is the closing event of the Water Festival, organized by the Municipality of Ohrid with support by the Ministry for Sports and the Swimming Federation of Macedonia.
