Ohrid, 9 August 2022 (MIA) – The wildfire near the villages of Vapila, Rasino and Sirula is under control, said the Ohrid fire fighting unit on Tuesday. “The fire is under control and I hope it will be extinguished during the day. The village houses are under no threat,” said unit commander Borko Jankuloski. Three fire fighting vehicles, along with teams from the National Forests public enterprise, the Protection and Rescue Directorate, the Crisis Management Center and volunteers are engaged in the extinguishing activities.
