Skopje, 10 August 2022 (MIA) – The wildfire that broke out in Ohrid near the villages of Vapila and Sirula is still active, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said on Wednesday. A fire fighting vehicle including three firefighters and a team from the National Forests public enterprise have been engaged in the fire extinguishing efforts. Apart from this active fire in Ohrid, other 26 wildfires across the country have been extinguished, the CMC said this morning informing about the wildfire situation in the country over the past 24 hours.
