Nuredini: Europe can be leader in green and digital transformation
Skopje, 11 November 2022 (MIA) - Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini held several meetings on the sidelines of the Prague European Summit, discussing the role and connection of green and digital development, possibilities for parallel development of green and digital transformations, and possibilities for Europe to have a global leadership role in dual transformations, the Environment Ministry said in a press release.
Nuredini met with Czech Minister of Regional Development and Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization Ivan Bartoš, European Investment Bank Vice-President Lilyana Pavlova, and Slovenia’s Minister for Digital Transformation Emilija Stojmenova Duh, adds the press release.
“Interlocutors exchanged views on the availability of various European financial instruments in the area of urban mobility and facilitating access to finance for innovative businesses, cities and other related entities in Europe,” the press release reads.
Minister Nuredini also met with Czech Deputy Minister for Climate Protection Jan Dusík for talks on climate change policies, the need to develop a legislative package that would enable the achievement of climate goals by 2030, decarbonization, the price of carbon, just transition, etc.
