Skopje, 12 June 2023 (MIA) - The number of tourists in North Macedonia in April 2023 was 69,934, of whom 25.8% were domestic
tourists and 74.2% were foreign tourists, State Statistical Office data show. 

The number of nights spent in April 2023 was 130,702, of which 28.4% are realised by domestic tourists and 71.6% are realised by
foreign tourists.

In the January - April 2023 period, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 24.3%. The number of
domestic tourists decreased by 3.6%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 46.1%.

In the January - April 2023 period, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 13.6%. The number
of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 4.8%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 29.0%.
