North Macedonia’s athletes parade at opening ceremony of Tokyo Olympics
Tokyo, 23 July 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia’s delegation of athletes, led by flag bearers Dejan Georgievski and Arbresha Rexhepi, marched on Friday afternoon in the parade within the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games. North Macedonia’s team members are set to compete at the Olympics in the following order: Filip Derkoski (swimming 400m.) and Borjan Brankovski (shooting 10m. air rifle) on Saturday; Arbresha Rexhepi (judo – 52kg) - July 25; Dejan Georgievski (taekwondo 80kg+) - July 27; Mia Blazhevska (swimming 100m) – July 28; Jovan Stojoski (track and field 400m) – August 1, final August 2; Puleksenija Jovanoska (karate kata) – August 5. Magomedgadzi Nurov (freestyle wrestling – 97kg) will compete last, on August 6, while the final competition in his category is scheduled for August 7.
