Skopje, 27 October 2023 (MIA) — The Macedonian women's national football team is playing the Kosovo women's national football team in Skopje on Friday at 1 pm in the second match in the newly formed UEFA Women's Nations League.

The teams are competing in the C5 group, in which the Macedonian players were defeated from Bulgaria 1-0 in the opening round.

The Macedonian team's head coach Kiril Izov has selected a squad of 24 players for the match. Team captain Natasha Andonova is absent from the list.

The rematch against Kosovo is scheduled for Oct. 31st in Prishtina. In the final round, the Macedonian players will play Bulgaria on Dec. 5.

Only the winning team from the C5 group will advance to the UEFA Women's Nations League B. mr/
